Can anyone recommend some comfortable wellies? I've been wearing Muck Boot Company jodhpur style boots & the neoprene really makes my feet sweat, my toes are as white as paper when I finish work. They are also quite heavy & I'm on my feet all day when in work

I have Ariat boots. They are really comfy and supportive. I think they are about £50 but are really tough and have lasted me at least 2 years.

Thats the trouble with neoprene, it can really make your feet sweat (and smell!! )

I have a pair of Equitextor which are quite comfy for me - didn;t cost too much either.

I swear by mucker boots-i only wear jod boots for competing at anything bigger than the local shows :-) The pair I've got now have a waterproof sole/toe and are fleece-lined at the bottom, but the rest is a breathable material fabric so should keep your feet a bit cooler, and wearing some chaps as well helps keep out hay :-)
Failing that, don't work quite so hard! XD

Thanks - I quite like the last suggestion... if only someone could train my horse  to clear up its own muck - happy days

Wellies are absolute rubbish for cold winter mornings!!
Because the soles are so thin they let alot of cold air in, which is why your feet will be so cold! I find that short yard boots that are fleeced on the inside with a thick sole are the best! Try Mountain Horse, they are usually made well and consider the cold weathers in winter! Just remember you get what you pay for so dont be decieved by 'bargains' because its likely they won't turn out to be very good!!

Yeah rubber riding boots do the job, and are usually lighter than wellies but not as flexible. My wellies are from Shires Equestrian, and they are quite light and comfy and don't make your feet sweat! xXx
