I had a horse given to me when I was 16 (becasue nobody wanted it as it was 'scary')and I used to just get on it and gallop around a field. It was well over 10 years later when I bought the horse I have now that I realisedhow much more there can be to riding and how to really get the best out of a horse

I am 29 and not at all from a horsey family. I adore horses and would really like to do more with my mare who I have had for 18 months so I am slowly getting things together, taking regular lessons and even taking myself off for a few days of training here and there although we struggle as we have no transport. I have quite an exciting job that allows me to travel lots, I love food, culture, all animals, sports and am generally pretty diverse! Though I adore horses and the country I also like my fair share of the city.
